Our values, principles and commitments

At Horus our values are all about support, diversity, community and commitment. The organisations, projects and teams we support have all been nominated by members of the Horus team.

We believe strongly in supporting our clients, supporting each other, and supporting communities. We work as a collaborative, unified team and support all our staff with personal development plans. Our people are the heart of the business, and we are very proud to have a diverse workforce in terms of age, gender, and ethnicity.

We adhere to the strongest ethics in whatever we do, and are fully transparent and legally compliant in whatever territory we operate in. The services we offer our clients are always proportionate – we never over-sell and always seek to provide a balanced, relevant solution, whatever the problem might be.

We also believe in putting something back into the community, and as well as regular, long-term commitments such as supporting local sports clubs, we occasionally commit to special one-off fundraisers if we feel strongly about supporting a good cause.

Our core principles

Supportive

We listen and support our clients and tailor our services to deliver what they want.

Continuous development

Development in our people and our technological resources keeping Horus relevant and current in the marketplace.

Diversity

We are committed to diversity at all levels with our organisation. By opening our minds and challenging bias, we create openness to change and innovation, engender respect and create great work for our clients.

Proportionality

We seek to provide balanced and relevant solutions to the challenges that our clients face.

Ethical

We follow the highest standards and ethical principles in everything that we do.

Transparency & full legal compliance

Our clients can rely on Horus products and services either in the civil or criminal courts.

The OX2TEX challenge

In April 2021 we celebrated our 15th year and also opened our newest office in Austin, Texas.

We decided to mark these two events by contributing to something we care about – better mental health. So the entire Horus team are now walking, running, and cycling a ‘virtual’ 4,861 miles – the distance from Oxford to Austin – and for every mile covered, Horus is donating £1 to MIND. Follow our LinkedIn page to keep up with the team’s progress to reach the 4,861 miles.

Intelligence Corps Rugby Team

Our strong links at Horus with the Army’s Intelligence Corps and our passion for sport and supporting it, makes sponsoring this particular good cause an obvious choice.

The British Army’s Intelligence Corps established a rugby club – ICRFU – in 2004. It competes in the Army Corps’ League as one of the smallest corps to do so, and has 60 registered players, either serving in the UK or deployed on operations across the world. Due to the small size of the intelligence corps, the club has struggled to raise a women’s rugby side, however, four corps ladies play in other combined teams and have reached the level of Army and Combined Service representation. The ICRFU has also had success in the inter-services World Cup, in the 15s league, and in the Corps Rugby 7s.

Bromyard Football Club

Horus is a proud sponsor of Bromyard Football Club, a local club in Herefordshire which was initially set up for junior and youth players of the beautiful game.

Established by a group of parents in 2011, with help from players families and friends plus support from local firms and businesses like Horus, the club has now expanded to include older players, with teams starting at under 7s and going all the way through to veterans. The next aim is to establish a series of girls and ladies’ teams and to improve the club’s facilities in the process.
